New Delhi: If you are installing an idol of Ganesh ji in your house on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, then it is very important to keep some things in mind while buying the idol. Some important rules have been given in Hinduism, scriptures, Vastu for keeping the idol of Ganapati in the house. If these rules are not followed, then instead of good, inauspicious results are obtained. This year, tomorrow i.e. 31st August is Ganesh Chaturthi and Ganesh idol will be installed in every house at an auspicious time.
Do not bring a dancing idol: Never bring a dancing idol of Ganapati to your home. Putting such an idol in the house causes discord. Nor do not give such an idol to anyone as a gift.
The trunk of Ganesh ji should be on the left side: If you take the idol of Ganapati for the house, then take the idol of Ganesh ji with the trunk on the left side. Special rules have to be followed in worshiping the idol with trunk on the right side. Therefore, avoid keeping such an idol in the house.
Keep the idol of clay only: Keep the idol of Ganesh ji only of clay. Do not keep the idol of Plaster of Paris or impure material at all. It would be better to have an eco friendly idol. You can buy eco-friendly Ganesh idols from the local market as well as online platforms.
Keep a sitting idol: Establish only a sitting posture idol of Ganapati in the house. The idol of Ganesh ji with standing posture should be kept at the workplace.
Do not keep the idol in these places: Do not install the idol of Ganesh ji anywhere in the house. Do not make the mistake of placing the idol of Ganpati towards the wall of the bathroom or in the bedroom. Doing this brings many troubles in life.
Bring the idol of Bal Ganapati to get children: Those people who want to get the happiness of children, they should install the idol of the child form of Ganesha. By doing this, children are born soon.
