List Of Five-Day Festivities
Dhanteras (Day 1): Diwali celebrations kick off with Dhanteras. On this day, devotees worship Lord Kuber and Goddess Lakshmi, and buy gold coins, bars, or jewellery.
Naraka Chaturdashi (Choti Diwali) (Day 2): Naraka Chaturdashi, also known as Choti Diwali, is celebrated after Dhanteras to mark Lord Krishna’s triumph over Narakasura.
Diwali (Day 3): Diwali celebrates Lord Rama, Mata Sita, and Lakshman’s return to Ayodhya after completing 14 years of exile. It marks the victory of good over evil. Devotees worship Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh on Deepawali.
