The much-anticipated Ram temple in Ayodhya is in the process of recruiting new archakas (priests) to serve within its hallowed walls. It is essential to note that Ramlala is revered within the Ramanandiya tradition of Vaishnavism. As such, candidates applying for the position of archak are required to have received Gurukul education and have undergone initiation within the Ramanandiya tradition. Following their training, they will be selected to serve as priests. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has issued an official notification regarding these priest positions.

The consecration of the Lord Shri Ram idol is scheduled to take place at the Ram temple on January 22.
