When Tradition Meets Modernity: Nita Ambani’s Iconic Saree Moment

Well-known businesswoman and global icon Nita Ambani truly left the Sites dazzled with her fine dress code sense. Famous for her fabulous sarees and authentic jewellery, she again impressed everyone by presenting tradition with a touch of modern style during the pre-swearing-in dinner for US President-elect Donald Trump in Washington, DC.

Draped in a traditional Kanchipuram silk saree by Swadesh, the saree was designed to feature over 100 significant traditional motifs inspired by the spiritual and historical essence of Kanchipuram’s grand temples, and adorned with 18th-century heritage Indian jewels.

Nita Ambani styled her luxurious pink silk saree with silver zari embroidery with a heavy gajra bun and diamond jewellery.

The plain gold silk saree with a bold border makes an ideal wedding choice, exuding understated luxury.

In a purple bandhani saree, Nita Ambani demonstrated how to blend traditional fabrics with modern glam. She paired it with a heavily embellished red blouse and a multi-layered pearl necklace to complete her elegant look.

Nita Ambani looked resplendent in a Paithani saree. Crafted from the finest silk and adorned with pure gold zari, the saree featured intricate floral and bird motifs.

Nita Ambani has been seen in pastel colors for her Banarasi sarees, reflecting Nita Ambani's ability to blend different aesthetics.
