Viral Photos: Ratan Tata’s Millennial Friend Shantanu Naidu Celebrates Holi With Elderly, Winning Hearts On Social Media

The 32-year-old Naidu entrepreneur and author, Shantanu Naidu, has made headlines again after his unique Holi celebrations pictures went viral on social media. Ratan Tata's young millennial friend and manager, Naidu took to his LinkedIn to share images from his 'Intergenerational Holi'. The photos featured him celebrating the vibrant 'festival of colours' with a few elderly people who are part of his start-up Goodfellows India.

Shantanu Naidu, who is currently the general manager and head of Strategic Initiatives at Tata Motors, began working with Ratan Tata in 2018. He worked as his assistant and overtime their friendship became the talk of the town.

Naidu captioned his LinkedIn post as, "Colouring outside the lines of age. A Happy intergenerational Holi from Goodfellows India." The pictures showcased the elderly people enjoying and celebrating Holi with bright colours.

The post has caught the attention of thousands of users who praised his brilliant initiative. A user wrote, "You all bring million dollar smiles on all the faces who are eagerly waiting for someone to talk to them. This is in real sense inclusivity we should talk about on ground..Your Actions Speak louder than words. Keep doing great work. God bless." Another user commented, "It's heartwarming to see people of all ages coming together to celebrate and spread happiness. Shantanu Naidu, first came into the national limelight when a video of him celebrating Ratan Tata’s birthday surfaced. The young confidant of Tata became a part of his team in May 2022. After joining, he quickly became a valued member of his inner circle.

Naidu's professional career began at Tata Elxsi as an automobile design engineer where he started an innovative project to save stray dogs from accidents. He introduced reflective collars to increase their visibility during night hours.

Ratan Tata had always been a supporter of Naidu’s initiatives and had reportedly invested in the startup Goodfellows India, a companion for the elderly.
