Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan made headlines after being injured in a shocking robbery at his Bandra (West) residence early Thursday morning around 2:30 am. Saif was taken to Lilavati Hospital in order to receive treatment. While the actor recovers, the incident has drawn attention to his luxurious family property, the Pataudi Palace, located in Haryana, far from his Mumbai home.

Commonly known as Ibrahim Kothi the Pataudi Palace estate is as large and valuable as you might imagine, with a worth of ₹800 crores. Many mistakenly believe it to be in Mumbai, but it is nestled in Haryana, exuding the charm of a royal palace with a blend of Mughal architecture and British design.

Spread across 10 acres, the palace boasts 150 rooms, including 7 bedrooms, 7 dressing rooms, and 7 billiard rooms. Its luxurious drawing and dining rooms add to its grandeur.

Designed by British architect Robert Tor Russell and Australian architect Carl Moltz von Heinz in the early 1900s, the estate was once home to Saif’s father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and remains a cherished family retreat.

Pataudi Palace has been featured in many Bollywood films and web series, such as Tandav, Veer Zaara and Animal.

Saif often describes the palace as "royal," a sentiment reflected in its stunning visuals. The estate also hosts family celebrations, such as Taimur Ali Khan's birthday and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s special occasions.
