KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty got married on January 23, 2023. in a private ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala.

In 2019, the wicket-keeper batter met Athiya through a mutual friend and both of them instantly hit it off. Soon the duo started dating.

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have always kept their relationship away from spotlight and private, it was only confirmed when Athiya's friend and designer Vikram Phadnis posted a cryptic comment which hinted that both of them were dating each other.

It was only in 2019 that the duo first posted a picture together from New Year celebration in Thailand which dropped a big hint about their relationship.

After almost two years of dating, KL Rahul made their relationship Instagram official by posting their picture on Athiya's birthday.

As the relationship flourished Athiya Shetty joined KL Rahul in matches and watched him from the stands.

While Athiya supported KL Rahul in his matches, the Indian cricketer was seen attending the screening of Athiya's brother Ahan Shetty's film 'Tadap'.

After getting married in 2023, the couple announced that KL Rahul was expecting his first child with Athiya Shetty officially on November 8, 2024.
