IPL 2025: Highlights Of CSK Vs DC Match | In Pics

In the 17th match of IPL 2025 that was played between CSK and DC at the Chepauk Stadium. The Chennai Super Kings experienced their worst defeat of the tournament during their home match against Delhi Capitals by 25 Runs.

The match started with a toss in which DC skipper Axar Patel won and opted to bat first.

Khaleel Ahmed celebrated getting a quick wicket of Jake Fraser-McGurk in the first over of the match.

Abishek Porel started his innings with a bunch of wonderful boundaries and ended the 2nd over with a score of 20/1 before he got out in the 7th over after scoring 33 runs.

KL Rahul slog sweeps for his first six of the yesterdays match in the 5th over.

Sameer Rizvi lost his wicket after just scoring 20 runs in 15 balls Khaleel Ahmed in the 17th over.

Tristan Stubbs helped Delhi Capitals finish strong by setting a chase target of 184 runs.

Mukesh Kumar struck an early wicket of Rachin Ravindra in his first over.

CSK lost another early wicket in just the 3rd over as Mitchell Starc dismissed Ruturaj Gaikwad in his first spell.

Vijay Shankar made a slow half-century in the 17th over.

MS Dhoni hit one four and one six in his 26-ball knocks.

Vijay Shankar and MS Dhoni added 84 runs for the sixth wicket but it still was not enough for CSK to be able to win the match.

DC celebrated their third back to back win in the yesterdays match against CSK as they won by 25 Runs.
