Apple Might Discontinue THESE 5 Devices After iPhone 17 Launch

With less than a week left for Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ event, where the tech giant will unveil the much-anticipated iPhone 17 series, some of the brand’s popular older devices are expected to be discontinued after the launch. On September 9, Apple is likely to announce the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Air, along with updated Apple Watch models and a new AirPods Pro.

With the launch of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max next week, the current models are expected to be phased out. Since the brand usually keeps only one flagship version in its lineup, the iPhone 16 Pro will be discontinued. However, buyers can still purchase it through other platforms.

Next in line to be dropped from Apple’s lineup are the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, launched in 2023. They are still listed on Apple’s official website, but after September 9, 2025, they will be replaced. The lowest available model on the site will then be the iPhone 16e. However, buyers may still find the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus through other platforms, though stocks will be limited.

Apple might also replace the current Watch Series with the upcoming one. It will mark the end of the road for the Watch Series 10 once the Watch Series 11 is launched.

Apple could discontinue the Watch Ultra 2, introduced two years ago, after the launch of the Watch Ultra 3 on September 9. Last year, the Ultra 2 only received a new colour variant alongside the iPhone 16 series.

Apple may also bid farewell to the affordable Watch SE model, making way for the latest Watch SE 2.
