Hurun Rich List 2025: Ambani Back On Top, Roshni Nadar Enters Top 3, Shah Rukh Khan Joins Billionaire Club

Mukesh Ambani has reclaimed the top spot on the Hurun India Rich List 2025 with a net worth of ₹9.55 lakh crore, while Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCL Technologies, entered the Top 3 for the first time and became India's wealthiest woman, boasting ₹2.84 lakh crore in wealth.

Mukesh Ambani was declared as India’s richest again on Wednesday in the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025. The Ambani family was the richest in India with a net worth of ₹9.55 lakh crore

while Gautam Adani and family came in second with ₹8.15 lakh crore net worth. Adani had sat at the top in 2024 with total wealth of ₹11.6 lakh crore, replacing Ambani from the number one position. Reliance Industries chairman was the richest individual in Hurun India's rich list 2023 initially, taking back the top spot from Adani, who was the richest in 2022.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCL Technologies was India’s richest woman, as she entered the Top 3 for the first time, with a net worth of ₹2.84 lakh crore.

Notably, there are a group of new entrepreneurs on the list who are currently leading wealth creation. Businessman Aravind Srinivas of Perplexity has now, at 31, become India's youngest billionaire with a net worth of Rs 21,190 crore.

Shah Rukh Khan has officially achieved billionaire status, making his debut on the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025 with a reported worth of Rs 12,490 crore. The 59-year-old actor and his family have now become the richest family among Bollywood personalities.

The family of Niraj Bajaj saw the greatest increase in wealth, adding Rs 69,875 crore to take their total wealth to Rs 2.33 lakh crore, as per an ET report tracking the list.

Mumbai is still India's wealth capital with 451 billionaires, followed by New Delhi with 223 billionaires and Bengaluru with 116. The industries which featured the highest number of entries were pharmaceuticals with 137 entries, industrial products with 132, and chemicals & petrochemicals with 125 entries.
