There are Various regions across India that have their own unique ways of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. They reflect the local rituals, traditions, cultures, and customs. 1- Maharashtra: Ganesh Chaturthi is an auspicious festival, especially celebrated by the locals of Maharashtra. It is one of the most iconic celebrations and a 10-day festival that ends with the grand procession, cultural performances, and visarjan (immersion) of Lord Ganesh's idol in water bodies.

2- Karnataka: People of Karnataka celebrate this sacred festival with great joy, devotion, and enthusiasm. They prefer eco-friendly idols that are mostly made of natural clay, and offer prayers and chant sacred mantras and bhajans to seek Lord Ganesha's blessings. They also make special dishes like Kayi kadubu (steamed coconut dumplings) and offer it as prasad (bhog) to the deity.

3- Tamil Nadu: Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is celebrated in Tamil Nadu. People in Tamil Nadu make the Lord Ganesh's idol from turmeric, and worship the deity by performing traditional rituals like offering prayers and fruits, flowers, and sweets like kozhukattai (modak) and laddoo.

4- Odisha: This sacred festival is now gaining popularity in cities like Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, with community pandals, cultural performances, dhol-tasha (drums), and offering sweets like laddoo and modak.

5- West Bengal: Here, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm, especially by the non-Bengali communities through Maharashtrian-style rituals, making small pandals, perfforming cultural events, and distributing sweets.

6- Gujarat: Ganesh Chaturthi is a divine celebration, where people worship Lord Ganesh with full devotion. There are cultural events like garba-style celebrations, featuring home worship, aartis, and a grand procession with immersion of the idol in water bodies.
