Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s love story is one of a kind. The twosome first got acquainted in September 2016 after the Jonas Brothers member slid into Chopra’s Twitter DMs.
They continued to text from there and later connected in person at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, where Jonas got down on one knee to show his admiration for the Quantico alum.
Jonas and Chopra were then both invited by Ralph Lauren to attend the 2017 Met Gala in his designs, but the Indian star said in June 2017 that the pair were just friends.
In May 2018, rumors were out that Jonas and Chopra were officially dating. At the time, an insider revealed that they were "a good match and they are both interested in each other."
Nick proposed to PC on her birthday just two months later and the couple tied the knot in two separate ceremonies in India that December.
Jonas revealed during an interview with Vogue in November 2018 that he first reached out to Chopra via her Twitter DMs. "I'm hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet."
She responded day of with a message that said, "My team can read this. Why don't you just text me."
The duo had a texting relationship for months before meeting up multiples times in early 2017, including at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, at the Carlyle in New York City and at Chopra’s home.
They were first spotted together when they walked the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York City. He sported a black and white tuxedo, while she wore a trench coat with a long train.
The lovebirds flew to her native India, where the musician met his girlfriend’s mother, Madhu, and attended a pre-engagement party for businessman Akash Ambani.
The lovebirds made their engagement official in August with a traditional Roka engagement ceremony, an Indian service that takes place before a wedding to signify the unification of the bride and groom’s family members and friends.
