On November 01, 2023, India, Bharat entered its Amrit Kaal. Today Bharat has achieved her great aim of Antyoday and now is leapfrogging towards Atmanirbharta. Sewa, Sushasan & Garib Kalyan, the hallmark of 10 years of Modi government has given 140 crore Bharatiyas a vision of developed Bharat by 2047, the greatest aim. Projections of some prominent agencies show that in the next 5 to 6 years Bharat will be the world’s third largest economy. What looked a distant dream before 2014 now seems like an achievable future in 2024. Finally, the dust of 60 years of uncertainty has settled down to give rise to a strong and resilient Bharat in just 10 years. In fact, today’s Bharat under the charismatic leadership of Shri Narendra Modi has achieved Atmnirbharta in many fields and is now helping other nations in need.

On December 11, 2023, PM Modi launched Viksit Bharat @2047: The Voice of Youth and said, “Youth power is both the agent of change and the beneficiaries of change.” Before this on October 31, 2023, i.e., on the 148th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of Bharat Sardar Patel, youths from all over the country brought soil in 8500 ‘Amrit Kalashes’ for building an Amrit Udyan and War memorial at Kartavya Path. This was a perfect example of creating a Jan Aandolan by ensuring Jan Bhagidari. On this day only, PM Modi launched the MY Bharat platform (Mera Yuwa Bharat), a proclamation of the youth power of Bharat. It will serve as a significant means to bring every youth of the country onto one stage, one platform by ensuring their maximum participation in nation-building. All the youth-centric programs are being encompassed in it to infuse Bharat with new energy.

Today the world is rapidly ageing but Bharat is young and going to remain so until 2070. Out of 1.4 billion Bharatiyas, about a billion are under the age of 35 today. In 2047, 21% of the global workforce will be in India. For a long time since independence, Bharat’s human resources were perceived as a hindrance to growth, a bane. However, the Modi government firmly believes that the youth of today are the Arjunas of the chariot, which will take Bharat on the Amrit journey. A journey, which will make India a Vishawguru! A journey, which will establish that the 21st Century is indeed India’s century. As ‘Viksit Bharat’ beckons us, the BJP government, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has embarked on a comprehensive roadmap, harnessing the immense potential of Bharat’s youth, to propel the country towards development and prosperity. The capacity, knowledge, and vigour of the Bharatiya youth in providing solutions to the most complex problems of the world are being acknowledged today.

In the last 10 years, Modi government took 13.5 crore people out of poverty, gave around 4 crore PM Awas houses, more than 10 crore Ujjwala LPG connections, 5 kg free ration per month to around 81 crores since last 3 years under PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana, around 13 crore tap water connections under Har Ghar Jal, electricity to last village through Saubhagya, and a comprehensive 5 lakh health insurance under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. These schemes combined with schemes like Mudra, SVANidhi, ‘PM Vishwakarma & Stand Up India have broken the chains restricting the middle class from flying freely. Today Bharat’s growth story is rural and semi-urban too. In the last nine years, our government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has created a wonderful synergy in policies, which have provided dividends to both rural and urban Bharat. Today if Modi ji is providing RapidX train system and metros to the urban class then on the other hand he is also connecting the last village of the country by road, electricity, tap water, etc. If urban Bharat is leaving Europe behind in terms of 5G expansion then Modi ji is also making sure that rural India is connected by broadband expansion then Modi ji is also making sure that rural India is connected by broadband service. This has led to the channelization of the vast potential of the youth from rural backgrounds and tier two- tier three cities & towns, which was underutilized for decades.

Today if we are the world’s third largest start-up ecosystem hub then it is the combined effort of rural and urban Bharat. In just 1 year, we have given close to 10 lakh government jobs too. These stories are not just about numbers. It is the story of the ability to access new opportunities in New Bharat. A New Bharat where good economics is at the centre of politics and is driving the much-needed change. The breadth of opportunities that Bharat presents today is unprecedented in terms of both size and scale. Today the government of Bharat has been able to bring capital investment as well as the best innovative practices from around the world to Bharat. After bringing it here, the government is also facilitating fast commercialization through dedicated policy interventions. We are committed to providing the best of the world to our young entrepreneurs.

Doing business in Bharat is easiest today. For this, we have developed a single window clearance system. This in turn ensured that out of $950 billion of FDI received since independence, $532 billion came in the last 8-9 years or so. Today, Bharat’s corporate tax rate is at par with our peers, which makes us an attractive destination. FasTag + GST + eWaybill have cut waiting times at borders from days to minutes today. We have introduced a special Production Linked Incentives scheme (PLIs) to empower the manufacturing sector. On one hand, Bharat’s economic landscape is being transformed and on the other hand, the JAM trinity (Jan Dhan, Aadhaar & Mobile) & the digital public infrastructure are transforming the lives of common Bharatiyas.

The policies and schemes of the current government are tailored to cater to the skilled workforce, aligning with the global demand for skilled professionals. By enhancing skill development and promoting vocational training through Skill India, the government is ensuring that the youth of Bharat can compete on the global stage. A stark comparison between the policy paralysis of previous Congress regimes and the transformative governance under the Modi government underscores the positive change witnessed in the country. The era of indecisiveness and stagnation has given way to a forward-looking approach that values efficiency, accountability, and results. The government’s unwavering commitment to development is evident in its ambitious targets and the concrete steps taken to achieve them. By nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship, the government is fostering a culture of Aatmnirbharta (self-reliance) and economic growth.

Similarly, the Fit India and Khelo India movements are emblems of the government’s commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among the youth. By encouraging sports and fitness at the grassroots level, these initiatives not only contribute to the physical well-being of the youth but also cultivate a culture of discipline, teamwork, and excellence, essential for a progressive nation. Today if Bharat is able to achieve its best medal tallies from the Olympics to the Asian games then it is because of the supportive ecosystem provided by the government through schemes like TOPS and events like Khel Mahakumbhs. Today we provide our players with monetary support and ensure excellent infrastructure and training facilities, which include great coaches too. This is why we are developing 1000 district sports centres and many Sports and related Universities in the whole country. The idea is to make Bharat a global sports powerhouse and promote sports as a career too.

In conclusion, the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ is not a distant dream but a tangible reality that is being shaped by the proactive initiatives of the Modi government. By fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and empowerment, the government is ensuring that the youth of Bharat becomes the driving force behind the nation’s progress.

As the PM said, “idea starts with an ‘I’, development efforts also begin from self”. Therefore, it is crucial to recognize that the journey towards a ‘Viksit Bharat’ is ongoing, and the youth of the nation will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of Bharat.

The Modi government’s commitment to the well-being and empowerment of its youth reflects a vision that transcends political boundaries, uniting the nation towards a brighter and more prosperous future. For India that is Bharat, this is the time & it is the right time (Yahi Samay hai, Sahi Samay hai).

संकल्प आज हम लेते हैं जन जन को जाके जगाएंगे,

सौगंध मुझे इस मिट्टी की, हम भारत भव्य बनाएंगे।

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat, Jai Yuwa!

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
