For the infamous Ravan Dahan in Delhi, this time Lt. Governor VK Saxena, CM Arvind Kejriwal, and actress Kangana Ranaut are coming to Red Fort ground.
Notably, this year, along with effigies of Ravan, Kumbhkaran, and Meghnath, effigies of anti-Sanatan forces will also be burned in Delhi says Arjun Kumar, President, Lav Kush Ramleela committee. What are anti-Sanatan forces and how prevalent they are in Hindu-majority India will be answered only if he writes a research paper someday.
Due to the complete ban on firecrackers, this year Ravan will be burned with grass, and soundtracks from last year’s Ravan Dahan will be played as an alternative to firecrackers. Of course, grass will evaporate and boost the AQI in the national capital, and lord Ram won’t accept Ravan Dahan if soundtracks aren’t played.
But what is more astonishing in this ‘Kejriwal-friendly’ Ram Leela is the combo of Delhi CM, Bollywood’s queen Kangana, and LG VK Saxena. Even Amit Shah could not have been able to bring together such opposite traits if not for forming a government in some state.
So, apparently, Kejriwal, Kangana, and LG Saxena will be facing the effigies of the trio of Ravan, Kumbhkaran, and Meghnath for dahan. It is for people to choose which trio to watch for more interesting Leela.
LG and Kejriwal have always been a wonderful combo for Delhiites, just a few legal cases and parliament sessions were dedicated to this duo. What Kangana feels for Delhi CM has been witnessed by Twitter every time.
