After graduation, Shruti decided to pursue the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination. However, her journey wasn’t easy. Her first two attempts were unsuccessful. Instead of giving up, she chose to prepare harder, relying mostly on self-study. She took coaching only for the General Studies section and studied her optional subject on her own. Her determination paid off in her third attempt when she achieved an All India Rank of 506 in the 2023 exams, earning her a spot in the Indian Police Service (IPS).

Shruti’s artistic side didn’t take a backseat even during her training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA). She continued to perform in cultural activities, particularly in dance and drama, balancing her creativity with the rigorous demands of administrative training.
