According to this business tycoon, time is money, and investing in a private jet was his way of saving time. Ever since he acquired the aircraft, he has been in the spotlight. The man who owns this ultra-luxurious jet is none other than industrialist Ravi Pillai, chairman of the RP Group. His brand new G 600 aeroplane has an office space as well as the comforts of a house. The cost of the private jet is around Rs 650 crore, which can fly 12,223 km in a single flight. The aircraft registered as T7 Ravi can carry 13 passengers comfortably at a time.
The private jet was brought from Bahrain to Tirupati on April 11 to perform the pooja. The aeroplane then flew to the hanger in Kochi on the next day. The private jet was welcomed at Kochi with a grand water salute. Poojas were performed by the former chief priest of Guruvayoor temple at 11.45 am on April 14.
High-End Gadgets Present In Aircraft
The interiors of the aircraft have reportedly been customised to reflect his taste. It features a spacious office setup that allows him to make phone calls and hold video conferences with any part of the world, right from the sky. If needed, the seating capacity can be expanded to accommodate up to 19 passengers. According to reports, this high-speed jet is capable of flying non-stop between major cities like New York, Dubai, London, Beijing, Los Angeles, and Shanghai. The aircraft is equipped with a large and well-appointed kitchen, a dedicated dining area, and conference facilities, making it suitable for both luxurious travel and conducting business meetings mid-flight. Additionally, it boasts 12% better fuel efficiency compared to previous-generation aircraft.
Technical Features
The makers of the G600 claim it is the fastest long-range private jet in the world. The jet is 96.1 feet long, 25.3 feet tall, and has a wingspan of 94.7 feet. Inside, it offers a cabin that is 51.2 feet long, 7.6 feet wide, and 6.2 feet high. It can fly at a very high altitude- up to 51,000 feet. For takeoff, it needs a runway that is 5,700 feet long, and for landing, it needs at least 3,100 feet of runway.
