Deepanshi Agarwal from Hyderabad has secured the first position in the CA Intermediate exam by Indian Chartered Accountants Institute (ICAI). She achieved AIR 1 rank and scored 521 out of 600 marks, becoming the topper. When she was asked about her success, she gave the credit to her parents and shared several ways she managed to reduce her exam stress. Her father also dreamed of becoming a CA, but due to family reasons, he couldn’t go beyond the Intermediate level. He had to leave his studies and now runs a clothing business, reported by Times Now Digital.
‘You Just Need To Score 300 Marks…‘
In an interview with Times Now Digital, Deepanshi shared how she is fulfilling the dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant for both herself and her father. She talked about how nervous she felt before the exams and how her parents supported her during that time. Deepanshi’s father used to say, “You just need to score 300 marks,” as he didn’t want her to feel overwhelmed by the pressure of the exam. He never let her give up, and whenever Deepanshi felt anxious, her father reminded her to trust what she had learned over the past year and just write it down in the exam.
Deepanshi Agarwal’s Study Routine and Parental Support
19-year-old Deepanshi said her parents were very supportive throughout her studies. She focused only on studying all day long. The CA topper shared that during exam time, she would often forget to eat due to stress, and her father would bring food to her room. She studied for 7-10 hours, and sometimes even up to 12 hours a day. Her parents made sure she never went to bed hungry.
Deepanshi Agarwal Reveals the Importance of Mock Tests in Her Success
19-year-old Deepanshi decided to appear for both groups of the CA Intermediate exam. To achieve this, she took both online and offline coaching classes. During the conversation, she mentioned that mock tests played a key role in her preparation. She took 3 mock tests before the actual exam.
