New Delhi, August 23: Xiaomi's newly launched Mi A3 smartphone went on sale for the first time at 12 pm today and will go on sale again at 8pm today on Amazon.in, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.
The key highlights of the smartphone are its triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core SoC, up to 6GB RAM, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, waterdrop-style notch, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Mi A3 carries a price tag of Rs. 12,999. While, its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs.15,999.
Sale offers on the Mi A3 include Rs. 750 cashback on HDFC Bank credit cards, with an additional Rs. 250 on EMI transactions. If you are an Airtel customer, then you can avail double data and unlimited calling by the Rs. 249 recharge.
The phone is launched in the market in "Not Just Blue", "More Than White", and "Kind of Gray" colour options.
The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box and features a 6.08-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style notch, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, along with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, it comes with the in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Mi A3 is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC and coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB and 128GB storage options and are expandable via microSD card.
Talking about its camera, the Mi A3 has the triple rear camera setup that has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens. While in the front it houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens.
In terms of connectivity, the device includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, the phone packs a 4,030mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
