LAST UPDATED: Nov. 24, 2020, 4:53 p.m.

Washington, (Diksha Kumari): So far, more than 5.94 crore people worldwide have been infected. Of these, 4.11 crore people are cured, while 14.01 lakh people have lost their lives. Currently, there are 1.69 crore patients who are undergoing treatment, i.e. active cases.

These figures are according to www.worldometers.info/coronavirus. After several months of postponement by the planet Health Organization, the WHO finally decided to send a team of foreign experts to China. There the team will investigate the spread of coronavirus. In the US, the toll in a week has exceeded 10 thousand.

WHO Decision:The WHO said Monday night that it's decided to send a team of experts from the world's health experts and infectious diseases to China. According to the press agency AFP, this team will determine how the virus spread in China and what was its main source. The answer to the present question also will be discovered whether the disease has passed from an animal to humans or has another reason. The organization's emergency director Michael Ryan said - We sincerely hope that the Chinese government will provide all facilities to this team. Experts from China also will be present during this team. This decision of the organization does surprise some. In fact, the US president has long accused China of spreading coronavirus from its lab. Donald Trump even said that he would prove his charges when the time comes. However, they need not been ready to provide any evidence thus far. The organization said - the planet must skills the virus became so dangerous.

No relief in America: According to a report by 'The Guardian', about 10,000 people died within the US last week. The United States government has thus far proved unsuccessful in controlling the pace of deaths from infections. An average of 1 and a half lakh cases are coming here a day. The US government had appealed to the people to avoid traveling during Thanksgiving week. However, the government's appeal doesn't seem to possess any effect. According to CNN, many people are preparing to travel on Long Drive. This can spread the virus quite fast. Apart from this, another danger is that the shortage of beds in hospitals. Things are already getting out of control here.

Poor countries will get help: The World Health Organization has taken another important decision. According to the organization, poor and middle-income countries will get the vaccines of Oxford University and AstraZeneca only at its cost price. However, it is not yet clear what determines the market price of the Oxford and AstraZeneca vaccines. The vaccine trial is in the final stages and it is believed that it'll soon be available in the market after approval.

Relief in France: In France, the speed of infection has been rock bottom in two months. Till fortnight ago, about 25 thousand cases were being reported a day. But now this speed has come all the way down to a good extent.

On Monday, 4 thousand and 452 cases were reported here. This is rock bottom number of cases received on one day after 28 September. The statement issued by the government said - We took strict measures and now it is very good results are coming out. It is also a message to other countries that the pace of infection can be reduced and the lives of its people can be saved
