Secretary of Homeland- Lawyer Alejandro Mayorkas has been appointed as Secretary of Homeland Security. Alejandro held the position of Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security during the Obama-Biden term.
Director of National Intelligence - Avril Haynes has been appointed as the Director of National Intelligence for Biden's term. Avril has served in various positions for Biden for over a decade now. Haynes would be the first woman to be nominated for the post.
Ambassador for the United Nations - Biden has chosen the name of Linda Tomas Greenfield as an ambassador for the United Nations.
Special Envoy to the President - Biden Announced the nomination of former Secretary of State John Kerry for the post of Special Envoy of the President for Climate. Kerry will be the first officer to hold this position on the National Security Council.
Social Secretary - Carlos Elizondo, Jill Biden's social secretary during the Obama administration, will hold the same position during Biden's term. Mala Adiga will serve as Jill's policy director. Her job will be to set Jill's priorities as First Lady. She has previously been the director of higher-level education and military families at the Biden Foundation. She has also served as an adviser to Jill Biden in the Obama administration.
