Beijing: China is currently engaged in military standoffs and confrontations in two sectors - Ladakh and the South China Sea.
With PLA troops having endured several beating at the hands of Indian Army soldiers, China is now worried that it may find the going tough in case of a war with India.
With tiny but brave Taiwan and the US challenging China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) in the South China Sea, the Chinese have a big problem on their hands.
In a rather weak attempt to hide their weaknesses and scare their enemies, the Chinese have resorted to posting propaganda videos on China's state-owned media outlets.
But one such recent video, which was intended to project the power of the PLA Air Force (PLAAF) has emerged as a major embarrassment for China as it has been proved to be fake.
This video has been trolled extensively on social media as the video footage it incorporates is from the blockbuster Hollywood films "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", "The Rock" and "Hurt Locker".
The video has been viewed by more than 4.72 million people on Weibo on Chinese social media. The video is produced by the Air Force Promotion and Culture Center of the PLA. It showed how the Xian H-6 bomber goes on the attack during war.
It depicts the Xian H-6 aircraft launching an attack on an island with high-altitude action shots. China is believed to have aired in this video as Diego Garcia and the US airbase in Guam. But China fell into its own trap and was quickly caught by social media users.
The video, which was released by the PLAAF, was given the title of 'The god of war Xian H-6 goes on the attack'. In the video, the pilot presses a button from the middle of the halfway point and a missile leaves on a seaside runway.
After the aerial scenes of the blast, the music suddenly starts playing in a dramatic style. Overall, if one looks closely, the scene looks like a trailer of a Hollywood film.
