With increased RAM and storage, Xiaomi relaunches its best seller at budget price

Pancham Saude, New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Tuesday launched a revamped variant of Redmi 4A for the Indian market, the company has added extra RAM and additional storage in the new version compared to the original handset.

The new variant will have 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage and it cost just Rs 6,999, the smartphone can be bought from Amazon India, Flipkart, Mi.com, Paytm, and Tata CliQ starting Thursday.

Manu Kumar Jain, V.P at Xiaomi and M.D at Xiaomi India, took it to twitter for introducing the new handset, he wrote, "Surprise! We are launching a new variant of Redmi 4A (3GB RAM + 32 GB flash memory) at an amazing price of Rs. 6,999." 

Whereas earlier variant launched in March cost Rs 5,999 but it had 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant.

 The smartphone featured a 5-inch HD display, powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC paired 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory

For photography, Redmi4A sports 13MP rear camera backed by a LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for better selfies
