New Delhi: RSS's joint general secretary Dattatraya Hosbole on Saturday defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s lunch meeting with Nawaz Sharif.
While speaking with reporters in Indore, Hosbole said "why shouldn't Modi eat with Nawaz Sharif? We don't oppose this. We believe the whole world is one family and it's our duty that we behave well (with others). This is India's religion, this religion should be followed. "
“The National Security Adviser of India is capable of dealing with the issue of terrorism. We have full confidence that that he would deal with the issue in the right way," the RSS leader added.
The statement by the senior RSS functionary came on a day when Pakistani terrorists attacked IAF base in Pathankot.
