New Delhi, News24 Bureau, April 18: Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli is unstoppable and is in no mood to listen to anybody. Her twitter rantings are going on and on and she has targetted many Bollywood biggies, one after the other: from Alia Bhatt to Soni Razdan to Mahesh Bhatt to Randeep Hooda...and the latest in her line of fire is Ajay Devgn. It all started when Tanushree Dutta, who is seen as the torch-bearer of the MeToo movement in India wrote an open letter to Ajay Devgn for working with Alok Nath in his latest film De De Pyaar De. Babuji Alok Nath is accused for sexual harassment in the wake of the Me Too movement. Responding to her letter Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel further slammed the actor by calling him intoxicated with power and money as well as teasing the whole movement.
Rangoli shared the open letter and wrote, "It is because of these men our country is a black spot on world map as far as crimes against women are concerned, shame on you Bollywood for mocking #MeToo."Rangoli further called out the actor and accused him of being “intoxicated” by power and money and teasing the very foundation of the movement. She further wrote, “These men are so intoxicated with power and money, they are teasing the movement by supporting fellow harassers and slyly mocking the victims, also shamelessly defending their actions with lame excuses and all those who are enjoying the sweetness of silence just because it is happening to somebody else’s daughter shall know the world is round and everything comes around."Tanushree Dutta wrote in her statement as, “Tinsel town is full of liars, show-offs and spineless hypocrites. And it seems by a large public consensus that the signpost is pointing currently at Ajay Devgn." She had further added, “It was possible to re-shoot Alok Nath’s scenes once the allegations against him were made public, but no, they had to keep the alleged rapist in their film and rub it on not only accuser Vinta Nanda's but on all our faces." Rangoli Chandel recently bashed actor Randeep Hooda who called Kangana, a chronic victim and an occasional actor. She also got engaged in a war of words with Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan on Twitter and accused Mahesh Bhatt of throwing a chappal at Kangana Ranaut at the screening of the 2006 film Woh Lamhe.
The Kangana Ranaut-Alia Bhatt twitter war is getting uglier by each passing day. Well, it is not exactly a Twitter war because Alia is not exactly tweeting anything and has chosen to be quiet in the entire episode. Bouts of the allegation are on and the only constant is the response from Kangana and her sister Rangoli.
