Mumbai: BCCI has rewarded the performers of Team Kohli. World number one bowler Ravindra Jadeja, along with Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay have been promoted to Grade A list of cricketers. They will now get annual retainer amount of Rs 2 crore per year. The others in list are Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, R Ashwin and A Rahane. The fees is valid from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017.
On Wednesday, the BCCI doubled the retainer amounts for cricketers of all categories.
Here's the list.
Grade A (Rs 2 crore per year)
Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, R Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja, Murali Vijay.
Grade B (Rs 1 crore per year)
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Wriddhiman Saha, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuvraj Singh.
Grade C (Rs 50 lakh per year)
Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu, Amit Mishra, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Karun Nair, Hardik Pandya, Ashish Nehra, Kedar Jadhav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Parthiv Patel, Jayant Yadav, Mandeep Singh, Dhawal Kulkarni, Shardul Thakur, Rishabh Pant
Effective Oct 1 2016, cricketers will be paid Rs 15 lakh per test, Rs 6 lakh per ODI and Rs 3 lakh per T20.
