New Delhi, Nov 12: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo launched the Y93 smartphone earlier this month that was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, the Y93 features a 6.2-inch display with a dual rear camera setup. Now, a new leak claims that the company is ready to launch its successor which will be called Vivo Y95, and it will get slight upgrades, especially in the camera department. The Vivo Y95 will also get a rear fingerprint scanner that was missing on the Vivo Y93 smartphone.
AndroidPure has also published the images of the retail box and hands-on images of the latest Vivo Y95. The report also reveals some of its key specifications listed on the retail box, which says that the Vivo Y95 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Funtouch OS, and will sport a 6.22-inch Halo Full View HD display. The Vivo Y95 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. The Vivo Y95 will get 64GB of Internal storage which can be expandable via microSD card slot.
MySmartPrice has also published retail box and promo images of the Vivo Y95. The images leaked by the MySmartPrice matched with those leaked by Android Pure. The leaked images suggest that the Vivo Y95 will be similar to the Y93 and will be seen sporting a waterdrop notch, and a dual camera set up at the back. For security, the Vivo Y95 gets a rear fingerprint sensor that was unavailable on the Vivo Y93 but it had facial recognition.
For photography, it will flaunt a dual camera set up at the back with one 13MP and another 2MP camera with the support of LED flash. On the front, there is a 20-megapixel sensor for better selfies. The smartphone will be backed by a 4,030mAh battery. The report also suggests that the Vivo Y95 will be launched soon in India, however, the launch date and price is still a mystery.
