Mumbai: Anu Malik is back with a bang after 2 years. The composer is being applauded for his latest project, `Begum Jaan'. The soft and slow music of Begum Jaan is gradually winning hearts in the era of remixes. The second song of the film was released on Thursday.
The second song, titled 'Aazaadiyan' is a classic example that music is beyond boundaries. The song features voices of Sonu Nigam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The heart-wrenching song questions the concept of freedom at the time of Indo-Pak partition. The division had resulted in the biggest ever human migration.
The first song, 'Prem Mein Tohre' sung by Asha Bhosle, is slowly getting popular.
Begum Jaan, starring Vidya Balan, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, will hit the theatres on April 14. The film, directed by Srijit Mukherji, is a remake of the 2015 Bengali.
