New Delhi, July 5, News24 Bureau: CCTV footage of the vicinity of the ill-fated family in Burari has cleared the doubts to an extent. The mass suicide theory was not acceptable to many especially after the relatives of the deceased came out and said that they don't want to agree with mass suicide theory as the family was very normal and there were no indications of any such forthcoming attempt.
The CCTV footage which is with police shows the girls of the family brought stools at around 10 PM on Saturday and electric wires were brought by the young boys of the family. Both these stools and wires were used for committing suicide.
Many other morbid details came out in the mysterious deaths of 11 members of a family in Burari. The police recovered 11 diaries that were maintained over a period of 11 years.
Footage of a camera installed outside a house opposite the residence of the family showed that the elder daughter-in-law of the house, Savita and her daughter Neetu could be seen bringing five stools that were later used for the members to be hanged. Around 10.15 pm, Dhruv and Shivam, the youngest members of the house, were seen taking electrical wires from the plywood shop. These wires were used by the 10 members of the family for hanging.
What is interesting is that the content of the diaries are exactly matching the way the alleged suicides happened. The diaries had instructions such as "keep water in a cup. When it will change colour, you will be saved".
The family was not expecting to die and thought that "the earth will shake" and "there will be thunder in the sky", and after that, they will be saved. 11 diaries maintained over a period of 11 years is a sheer coincidence and it is not in any way related to the deaths of the 11 family members.
