Uttarakhand CM office spent nearly Rs 6900000 on tea-snacks in less than 1 year

New Delhi, Feb 6: This piece of news may not be music to PM Modi's ears as one of his chief ministers has spent more than a half crore on tea and snacks. Yes, this is what has been revealed in a Right To Information (RTI) report according to ANI.
In a reply to an RTI query, RTI Officer states that after Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat assumed his office on 18th March 2017, Rs 68,59,865 of govt fund has been spent on refreshments and snacks for guests.

Some time back a similiar RTI had revealed that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's residences Kaveri and home Office Krishna had spent a huge amount of Rs 60 lakhs. But this amount was a grand total of over four years. In contrast the BJP ruled Uttarakhan CM's amount of over 68 lakhs is of less than a year.
