Uddhav dares RSS: 'For Ram temple bring down Modi government

New Delhi, News24 Bureau, Nov 2: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has reacted sharply to Bhaaiyaji Joshi's observations on the Ram Mandir and commenting on the same he says that all efforts put by RSS have gone down the drains.Hurling an array of cryptic remarks the Shiv Sena chief says that it's better that it withdraws all moral support that it is providing to Bhartiya Janata Party. On Thursday Thackeray had dared the BJP to claim that the promise of building a Ram temple in Ayodhya was a "jumla", asserting that it will go down from "280" Lok Sabha seats to two if it did so.Further attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he said the bricks collected for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh was in reality not for the temple but steps that took it to power.Ram Mandir issue is gaining momentum with each passing day and the topic is selling like a hot cake as the elections, both Assembly as well as General elections approach.Building further pressure on the government, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Friday hinted at a fresh "mass agitation" akin to 1992 for constructing a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh." Ram Mandir will be built soon and we are confident about it.… We have already waited too long for it and cannot wait indefinitely, "said RSS General Secretary (Sarakaryavyah) Suresh 'Bhaiyyaji' Joshi further adding a veiled threat, If necessary, we shall launch a 'jan andolan' (mass agitation)."He urged the courts to take up sensitive cases like the Ram temple on priority and expressed confidence that the judicary will take into consideration the sentiments of Hindus before giving a decision.Joshi reiterated the RSS demand that the government should consider enacting a law or promulgating an ordinance to pave the way for constructing the temple. His remarks came at the end of a three-day long RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal conclave held near Uttan Beach of Bhayander town.
