Two Indian jawans martyered as Pakistan violates ceasefire at LoC

Jammu: A soldier and a BSF Head Constable were killed on Monday in firing by Pakistani troops on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani troops fired rockets at the post of BSF along the LOC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. In the meantime, a high-level talk is on at HM Rajnath Singh's residence in wake of the Sukma and J &K attacks. 

The Pakistan Army resorted to "unprovoked" firing in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district at 8.30 a.m., Defence Ministry sources told IANS.

Rockets and automatics were used to target Indian positions.

"A BSF (Border Security Force) Head Constable and an Army soldier were killed in the ceasefire violation," an officer said.

"Indian troops effectively retaliated and firing exchanges are going on between the two sides," he added.
