Two movies to battle it out on June 1st, which has more potential? Let's take a deeper look:
* Bhavesh Joshi, Superhero: Bhavesh Joshi' is the second movie of Harshvardhan, and he is awaiting the release of his debut film 'Mirzya'. Talking about the Phantom Film's project, Harshvardhan told , "We will start filming for action. We did till now the non-action scenes. The first schedule was performance and the second schedule is action. I will start my training for action now." When asked if the film will have Hollywood style action or something more rooted, he said, "It's Vikramaditya Motwane so you can trust him to do something original. I can't reveal things it's too early. All I can say is expect action like never before it is going to be a different world."
*Veere Di Wedding: With the first look poster of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ released, fans of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor have been left gasping for more. The poster declared that the film is scheduled to get onto cinema halls on May 18, 2018. The movie belongs to the romantic comedy genre, film revolves around four friends attending a wedding. The film directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar in the lead roles.
What differentiates these two movies, which will make them earn money in their own right, is that, Bhavesh Joshi is like a macho, action-hero pic. This is a complete family-oriented scene. Superhero movies provide wholesome entertainment and thus they also garner more numbers.
While for Veere, there is like a specific (and specific only) fan-base for the enthu-woman and their female friends talking unabashedly about love, sex, and then subsequent marriage and responsibilities of being an Indian bahu? Women putting their relationships with each other above those they had with the men in their lives? A poster which does not feature even one man and a trailer where the first real glimpse of a male face and dialogue is a distant 43 seconds into it? Really. Quite. Excited.
