New Delhi: Noted American auto manufacturer company 'Indian Motorcycle' is all set to launch two all new retro looking bikes- Indian Chief and Indian FTR range in India in August-2021. It may be underlined that the company hasn't launched any of it's product since BS-VI emission norms came into force in April-2020.
Worldwide, the Indian Chief range includes of six models. Out of these, three models - the Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark Horse and Super Chief Limited are ready to hit our market. All of these three bikes are attached with a BS6 compliant 1,890cc ThunderStroke 116 machine which is capable of generating 162 Nm @ 3,200 rpm. Prices for these bikes will start from Rs 20.76 lakh (ex-showroom).
Apart from the Indian Chief range, the company will launch the 2022 FTR range as well. These bikes get their power from 1,203cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that develops 121 BHP and 120 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission. These bikes are equipped with Brembo brakes, Metzeler Sportec tyres and adjustable Sachs suspension.
ABS, cruise control, ride modes and 17-inch wheels are the key features of all of these bikes.
