Mumbai: She is bold and beautiful, and bindaas too. This 'mast' bollywood actress usually take things in her stride and nothing unruffles her easily. But one scary incident has changed her life and, yes, the way she looks at the world has changed too. The furious Baadshaho actress took to Twitter, to share her nightmare. Ileana D’Cruz has become a victim of stalking of sorts, which highlights the dark side of celebrity life. The inicident happened while she was going to a fashion show, and her car got suck in traffic. It is then her so called male fans started misbehaving. The incident happened when her car was stuck in traffic while she was travelling to a fashion show venue in Mumbai., “They started banging against the window, pressing themselves against the car, one of them even lying down on the top of the bonnet and laughing. I’ve been eve teased when I was younger, but I didn’t expect guys to misbehave to this level at this age.” Ileana said, adding, “They followed my car even after the signal turned green. It was like a power trip for them.” The actress did not step out out of the car she was travelling without bodyguard. She also did not allow the driver to step out. “They could have beaten him up and I wouldn’t have been able to stop them. So the only thing my chauffeur could do was honk while I ignored their antics,” said the Badshaho actor. “I don’t even know who they are. May be I’ll handle the situation differently if, God forbid, it happens again, but this time, I played safe,” Ileana told a newspaper.
Not to take it lying down, she posted two tweets. The first one said: “It’s a pretty shitty world we live in. I’m a public figure. I understand that I don’t have the luxury of a private & an anonymous life.” “But that doesn’t give any man the right to misbehave with me. Don’t confuse “fan antics” with that. I am a WOMAN at the end of the day," said the second one.
Lending support to Ileana was Varun Dhawan, who re-tweeted Ileana’s posts.
