Three Ways to refrain from gaining the holiday weight!

 

Let the celebrations begin, the festive and holiday season begins from Diwali and then up-to the new years. The festivities give us so much joy and we get to be thankful for the many gifts in our life - however, the only downer seems to be all the weight that we gain from eating all those delicacies.                             

                                                                            

 

Here are three ways to curb your eating during the holiday season: 

 

* Stay Active: At the beginning of each week, look at your calendar and schedule in exercise. Determine, in advance, when you will exercise, what you will do and how long you will commit. Exercising during this time also will help you balance out those delicacies you want to savour. 

 

* Hydarate: Dehydration can make you think you are hungry, even when you aren't. 

 

* Limit your alcohol: Alcohol can lower your inhibitions, causing you to throw caution to the wind and overeat. It is also high in calories, which can pile up fast over several hours at a party.
