Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune condition that causes the rapid build-up of skin cells. This build-up of cells causes scaling on the skin’s surface. This leads to further inflammation and redness around the scales. These cells tend to develop thick, red patches. These patches tend to crack and bleed. If effects about 21 billion people in the world and can lead to various  ailments such as type 2 diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, cardiovascular disease, and psoriatic arthritis.
