This song has gone viral, know why

Gurdas Mann, the original superstar of Punjabi music with the fine quality of songs he penned himself, a dance in his steps and a tambourine in his hands, he changed the face of popular Punjabi music.

The legend lives on even at 60 in a daring title track of his album called Punjab, conceptualised and directed by his son Gurrick, which was released on Thursday in SAS Nagar.

Maan has Bhagat Singh as a child who as a spectator watches over Punjab today and probably wonders if his ultimate sacrifice was for all this.

The video shows youth addicted to alcohol and chitta. Mann also talks about how food and milk in the state is as bad as alcohol or poison, given the way it’s being produced with chemicals and fertilisers.

This song comes right at the time of elections as a reminder to people to make their decisions wisely.
