New Delhi: After winning the title- the phone of the year, OnePlus3 makers are coming up with new flagship phone soon.
Logically, after announcing the OnePlus 3 and 3T last year, everyone was expecting OnePlus 4 from the company. But, that's not what is happening. Interestingly OnePlus makers have skipped the OnePlus 4 and instead are expected to announce the OnePlus 5 next month. The reason to ditch number 4 is because it is considered an unlucky numeric back in China. Whatever be the reason, OnePlus 5 is expected to be much better than both OnePlus 3 and 3T, be it camera, hardware, processor or the camera, so that the makers can retain their title of the best phone of the year.
Even before the launch of the OnePlus5 (Official name yet to be confirmed by the company) we have many rumors and speculations in social media about the phone hardware. One such leak suggests that OnePlus 5 will have bigger battery compared to its previous versions.
If media reports to be believed, OnePlus5 will feature a 5.5-inch display, as of now we don't have details about the resolution of the phone, but it could feature 1080P compared to its previous versions, it's also not clear yet if the phone will have the LED IPS display or OLED. The phone could be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM variants. On the software front, the phone is expected to run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The phone is rumored to come in two storage variants 64GB and 128GB internal storage.
For photography, it's confirmed that the phone will have dual rear cameras, on the front phone is likely to sport 16MP shooter. The phone will be backed by 3400mAh battery.
This smartphone could be priced around $449 which is roughly around Rs 28,800.
