New Delhi: On the occasion of India's 73rd Republic Day 2022, Google is congratulating the countrymen by making a special Google Doodle. An elephant, horse, dog, camel are shown on its homepage. Along with this a red tabla, parade path, saxophone as part of camel mounted band, pigeon and the national flag are also featured.
As we all know that the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950. This day is also remembered as the anniversary of the declaration of Purna Swaraj (complete independence) by the Indian National Congress in 1929.
Cultural programs are organized over a period of three days during Republic Day. It reflects the flexibility, history and diversified social fabric of the world's most populous democracy. Today the Republic Day Parade has been organized whose elements have been depicted in the doodle artwork organized at Rajpath in New Delhi.
The parade consists of dozens of bands, folk dancers and government officials along with a float for several Indian states.
The Republic Day celebrations began on January 23 this year, when the central government was celebrating the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also unveiled a hologram statue of Bose at the India Gate in the national capital.
