Lucknow, Nov 1: In a major embarrassment to UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Allahabad High Court has odered CBI probe in recruitment of 68,500 assitant teachers. This recruitment was done under the Yogi government in 2018.
The court ordered CBI probe into the irregularities in selection of 68,500 Assistant Teachers for the government run primary schools in UP.
In another decision the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad Court on Thursday set aside recruitment of 12,460 Assistant Teachers made by the Akhilesh Yadav government in December, 2016.The court ordered CBI probe into the irregularities in selection of 68,500 Assistant Teachers for the government run primary schools in UP.Both verdicts were delivered by single judge bench headed by Justice Irshad Ali here.
"The Director, Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) shall make investigation in regard to the entire process of selection initiated for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Primary Schools against 68,500 posts, which is known as Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination, 2018initiated in pursuance to an advertisement," the order said.News24 Bureau/Agencies
