New Delhi, Sept 6: Since Reliance Jio has evoked a new battle of networks in Indian telecom sector, networks like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea are trying to match up with the tough offers that newbie Reliance Jio has been providing to the customers.
Bearing the difficulty, India's biggest telecom operator, Airtel has introduced various new recharge plans for prepaid users that range from Rs 8 to Rs 399.
Looks like, Airtel has formed a shield to protect its customers from switching to Reliance Jio. It is only when Reliance Jio provided cheapest and affordable offers with free voice calling, that the new revolution has occurred in the telecom industry!
Here are some new offers by Airtel:
- Rs 5 plan: 4GB 3G/4G data for 7 days [ Offer valid only after 4G SIM up gradation and one-time recharge ] - Rs 8 plan: Local + STD mobile calls, 30 paise/minute for 56 days - Rs 40 plan: Rs 38 talk time with unlimited validity - Rs 60 plan: Rs 58 talk time with unlimited validity - Rs 199 plan: Unlimited local mobile calls and 1GB 3g/4g data for 28 days - Rs 349 plan: 10% cashback on recharge by opening Airtel Payments Bank account
It is reported by analysts that Jio will continue to contain it's aggressive pricing to invade the maximum gain in market share. Airtel's profits and margins have been reported to decline by 75 per cent in its net profit at Rs 367 crore compared to Rs 1,462 crore in April-June.
