New Delhi: German Footballer and Goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen who is associated with FC Barcelona received the well-known award of the Football, Aldo Rovira Memorial Award for player of the season in 2019/20, which he won last October according to the jury made up of journalists from different media. The prize was created by the former Barça director Josep Lluís Rovira as a tribute to his son Aldo who died in 2009 in an accident at the age of 37.
The presentation of the award took place on Thursday just before the first team's scheduled training session, in the presence of the FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, first vice president Rafael Yuste, Enric Masip and Benny Megreli. Also present were the president of the Aldo Rovira Memorial Award, Borja Rovira and various members of the Rovira family.
