New Delhi: As the nation commemorates the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, many well-known people took to social media to share photos of the festivities and wish fans on the event. They also urged everyone to stay home as India continues to battle the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
On Friday, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj also tweeted and congratulated the people on his behalf on the occasion of Eid. Siraj also mentioned the pain of his father's absence in his tweet. He celebrated this Eid by sharing an emotional post. The fast bowler shared the picture of his mother and brother by tweeting and also shared the picture with his late father.
The 27-year-old wrote while sharing the picture, "EID UL FITR MUBARAK! Maa baap saath ho tou har din Eid jaisa hota hai aur na ho tou EID ka din bhi udaas dikhta hai, Miss you Pappa".

PM Modi tweeted, "Best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Praying for everyone’s good health and well-being. Powered by our collective efforts, may we overcome the global pandemic and work towards furthering human welfare, Eid Mubarak!"

Sachin Tendulkar wrote on Twitter, "Wishing everyone good health, happiness, and prosperity on the auspicious occasion of Eid. #EidMubarak".
Siraj has also included India's Test squad for the tour of England. The tour starts with the World Test Championship final against New Zealand and is followed by a five-Test series against England.
