NEW DELHI (DIVYASAINI): Mumbai Indian cricket player Krunal Pandya was stopped at Mumbai Airport for bringing illegal gold from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to ANI, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence said that “Krunal was detained at Mumbai Airport. He was accused of bringing gold and other valuables in excess of the prescribed limit without giving any information”.
When Pandya was told that he had more gold than the fixed limit by authority and Some valuable items have also been found from them, including two gold bracelets and some expensive watches, he admitted his mistake and said that he was not aware of the rules. He apologized for this and also paid a penalty for it. Krunal said that he will not make these mistakes further. The DRI then allowed him to leave. Let me tell you that Krunal has returned home after winning the IPL-2020 played in the UAE. His team Mumbai Indians won the title for the 5th time to Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets.
