IndvsAus: On the new year, Australian batsman Steven Smith has made a new history by scoring a half-century in the second innings of the Test, which is no less than an example for everyone. Batsman Steve Smith has also surpassed several former veterans in the second innings of the third Test with India in Sydney.

Smith has scored a century and half-century in the same Test 10 times and in this case, he has surpassed Jacques Kallis, Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Alan Border, Alastair Cook and Kumar Sangakkara.

Smith scored 131 in the first innings of the Sydney Test and 81 in the second innings. Kallis from South Africa, considered among the greatest all-rounders in the world, has done this feat nine times while Cook, who has scored the most Test runs for England, has scored centuries and half-centuries in a single match 8 times. Apart from this, Border, Sachin, Potting and current India captain Virat Kohli have scored centuries and fifties in the same match 7-7 times.
