New Delhi, Jan 9, News24 Bureau: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sent a show-cause notice to allrounder Hardik Pandya and Opener KL Rahul on Wednesday. Pandya and Rahul recently hurt the hearts of their fans by discussing women on the chat show of Karan Johar 'Koffee with Karan'. There is a possibility that the board can now stop players from attending such shows.
The statement of Pandya's on the Karan Show was criticized very much, after which the all-rounder apologized to the social media. Pandya wrote, "After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. Respect.
At the same time, KL Rahul did not react to the criticism. Vinod Rai, president of the Committee of Administrators (COA) said, "We have sent a show-cause notice to Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul for their statements. They have to give their answer in 24 hours. ' 25-year-old Pandya and Rahul came together in a celebrity chat show hosted by movie-maker Karan Johar.
In the show, Pandya had disclosed about going out with many women and having a very frank relationship with his parents. When he was asked, did he asked the name of women in the club, Pandya replied, "I like watching how they move".
