New Delhi, Oct 13: After stoking controversy by hugging Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has done it again. On Saturday, Sidhu drew flak for drawing analogy between Pakistan and South India. Launching a scathing attack on Sidhu, Union minister Harsimrat Badal called him "ISI's latest agent in India", while her husband and SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal called Sidhu "mad"."If I go to Tamil Nadu, I don’t understand the language. Not that I don’t like the food, but I can’t take it for long. That culture is totally different. But if I travel to Pakistan there is no difficulty. The language is the same and everything there is just amazing," Sidhu said at a literary festival in Kasol. It was Sidhu's effort tod highlight cultural similarity between Punjab and Pakistan that has landed him in trouble again.Sidhu took the opportunity to clarify his hugging of Pak Army chief. "My Jhappi was no conspiracy, it was no Rafale deal... If somebody tells me that they are ready to open the Kartarpur corridor. I mean they said it 400 times that we are ready to open the corridor then this is the way I show affection. I will hug and also kiss them. I care two hoots about people who play dirty politics on that. I have lived my life on my terms," said cricketer-turned-politician in his own charecteristic style. Reacting to his latest statement, SAD leader Sukhir Singh Badal said, "Sidhu has lost his mental balance. He has become ISI's biggest agent in India." He added that in his current mental frame of mind Sidhu was giving more prominence to Pakistan than in India. Sukhbir's wife and Union minister Harsimrat Badal said that Sidhu has now started speaking in Pakistan's voice. " Pakistan has got a new ISI agent in Sidhu. If Sidhu likes a country that kills our soldiers and slits their throats then he should go and live in Pakistan,"she added.
