A shocking twist in the tale in death of Mumbai fashion designer

New Delhi, Oct 8: On October 4, 23-year-old model was arrested for allegedly pushing his mother during a scuffle, leading to her death, police said on Saturday. Oshiwara police said that Lakshya Singh was arrested on Friday in connection with the death of his mother Sunita Singh (45).

Earlier, Lakshya had claimed that black magic had killed his mother.

Investigation in the case has revealed that Sunita was alive till early morning and if her son Lakshya would have called the doctor, he could have saved her.

Lakshya had spoken to a private news Channel, claiming that he had not killed his mother and black magic was to blame for his mother's death.

Investigations in the case have revealed that Lakshya had delusions due to his drug addiction. He believed that his father, who had died three years ago had come back and killed his mother and therefore he went to the temple and asked the priest to perform a pitru paksh pooja for his mother.

He told the priest he wanted to perform a ritual for his mother because she was being possessed by the soul of his dead father.

Now in the death of the 45-year-old fashion designer a new twist came out. Until now, everyone knew that her husband and Lakshya's father died three years ago. Today Lakshy's father reached to the police station. His name is Kuldeep.

On Saturday, Lakshya was produced in court and remanded to three-day police custody. He has been charged under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code
