New Delhi, Nov 12: Samsung has unveiled its latest Android flip phone W2019 which includes dual Super AMOLED display panels, powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC. The Samsung W2019 will come in two colour variants- the Gold Extreme Edition and Platinum Golden Collector's Edition and both have similar specifications. The Samsung W2019 Android flip phone also gets a Bixby voice assistant integration.
The price and availability of the Samsung W2019 is yet to be announced but it has been listed on the Samsung China website which hints that it will be a China-exclusive model.

Like the previous W-series Android flip phones, the W2019 will be designed with premium materials like anodised, diamond-cut aluminium and glass. The smartphone gets a brushed finish and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will have a compact physical T9 keypad to get one-handed control. Users can also press the 8 key on the keypad for an exclusive service for 12 months which offers access to the various airport and high-speed rail VIP lounges as well as airport CIP rapid security checkpoints. The buyers will also get screen and battery replacement by using this exclusive service.
The W2019 will feature two 4.2-inch full-HD Super AMOLED displays with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The W2019 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM. For photography, it will sport a dual camera setup at the rear which is similar to the Galaxy S9+ which has a combo of two 12MP cameras along with a telephoto lens for 2x optical zoom. While for the selfies, it has an 8MP camera on the front.
Samsung W2019 comes with 128GB of internal storage which can be expandable via microSD card up to 512GB. The Samsung W2019 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with a proprietary skin on top and will be backed by a 3,070mAh battery.
