Samsung Galaxy A9: World's first smartphone with 4 camera at rear to be launched on November 20, know other specifications

Pancham Saude, New Delhi, Nov 18: Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy A9 (2018) on November 20. The company has sent media invites to confirm the launch of the Galaxy A9 (2018) in the country. The Galaxy A9 was first unveiled at an event in Kuala Lumpur last month with four camera setup at the rear. The smartphone is claimed to be the world's first smartphone with quad camera setup at the rear. The smartphone will feature an Infinity Display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and will have 8GB of RAM. E-commerce site Flipkart has created a special landing page for the Galaxy A9 (2018) revealing it to be exclusive to its platform at launch.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) price in India

As per reports, the Galaxy A9 (2018) will be price tagged around Rs. 35,000 in India. While some previous reports claimed that it will be launched at Rs. 39,000 in India. 

The global price of the Galaxy A9 (2018) starts at EUR 599 which is roughly Rs. 48,800 and GBP 549 which is approximately Rs. 44,700. Official Indian price details of the Galaxy A9 are yet to be revealed. 

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) specifications

The Galaxy A9 will feature a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Infinity Display Super AMOLED panel with aspect ratio 18.5:9.  The Galaxy A9 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM options.

For photography, the Galaxy A9 will sport a four-camera setup at the rear which will include a 24 MP camera, a 10MP camera, an 8MP camera and 5MP camera. While on the front, it will have a 24MP front camera with Face Unlock feature as well as Bixby assistant and Samsung Pay integration.

The smartphone will come with 128GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The Galaxy A9 will run on Android 8.0 Oreo on top of Samsung Experience UX  a 3,800mAh battery that supports fast charging.
